About Magazine

Connecting people, stories and places across our local community.

The Local Scope

began with a simple question: why do so many important local stories go unnoticed?

Across North Northamptonshire and neighbouring towns, businesses grow quietly, public institutions serve daily, and cultural initiatives shape identity – yet much of this remains underrepresented in modern digital media.

We believe local life deserves a dedicated, independent platform that reflects its value with care, integrity and a genuine commitment to supporting the community – particularly small local enterprises and initiatives that form its backbone.

Founded by Kordian Pach and built alongside his two daughters – who grew up in Northamptonshire and are deeply connected to its community – The Local Scope brings together experience and a younger generation’s perspective. Living and working in this region, we have witnessed its resilience, entrepreneurial spirit and cultural energy. We have also recognised the need for a stronger, more cohesive local voice.

The Local Scope exists to document what is happening now, to amplify voices that matter, and to create a shared space where enterprise, public service and creativity are part of one evolving regional story.

This is more than a media project. It is a commitment to growing alongside the community – supporting civic engagement, economic confidence and cultural vitality for the years ahead.
