Painted By Light
Body Casting & Photography Studio
About me
Fine art body casting for the moments, relationships and stories you want to hold onto.
Based in Raunds, Northamptonshire, Painted By Light creates bespoke, highly detailed sculptures directly from the human form.
We believe some moments deserve more than a photograph.
Our work transforms a person’s physical presence into a lasting three-dimensional artwork, capturing the subtle contours, textures and individual details that make every body unique.
From pregnancy and motherhood to couples, individual body sculptures and deeply personal commissions, every piece begins with a story and is individually created and hand-finished in our studio.
The casting experience itself is just as important to us as the finished artwork. Our private studio provides a calm, discreet and welcoming environment where each session is carefully planned around the individual. We understand the trust involved in body casting and approach every commission with sensitivity, professionalism and respect.
Painted By Light combines fine art, craftsmanship and the human form to create something intensely personal: a tangible record of a moment, relationship or chapter of life that can be kept for generations.
If you are curious about body casting, considering a private commission, or simply want to discover this unusual form of sculpture, we invite you to explore our work and learn more about the experience at paintedbylight.co.uk.
